Kabir Khan Denies Completing Hrithik Roshan's Super 30

The #Metoo movement caused a lot of turbulence for filmmaker Vikas Bahl, who is facing serious allegations by a former employee of Phantom Films. His name has been reportedly dropped from the credits of the film as the director of the Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30. Things are definitely not right since then, for the movie’s team and the hunt for a new director to complete what Bahl has left undone, is pretty much on.

Amidst all this, fresh reports surfaced online, a day back, that filmmaker Kabir Khan will take on the directorial reins from Bahl to complete the rest of the project. Reports claimed that Kabir, who is also helming the Ranveer Singh-starrer ’83, has come on-board, to complete the Hrithik Roshan starrer. But let us tell you that there is no truth to these reports.

Kabir Khan has exclusively revealed to SpotboyE.com that he is not directing Super 30. "I'm not completing Super 30," said the director. This makes us wonder who will indeed provide the finishing touches to the project, which is set to lock horns with Kangana Ranaut-starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi on the Republic Day weekend, next year.

A few weeks back, we had messaged Shibashish Sarkar (Chief Operating Officer at Reliance Big Entertainment Private Ltd) andasked if Vikas was indeed out from Super 30. But Sarkar chose to not respond despite having read our WhatsApp messages. Before and after, even our calls to Sarkar were ignored. There has been no formal confirmation on the status of Vikas’ association with the film till now and the news that Kabir Khan is stepping into his shoes, is absolutely untrue, which just means, back to square one!
